We found their place without any problems. I don't have a single picture from our vist. When alone I take a million silly pictures. I love digital! But I am completely shy about cameras when I'm with people so I left my camera in the car. Seems silly now, but I really choke when there are people around.

A & E showed us their apartment. We talked for a bit. Met her cats. Then we went out to eat falafel & fries (mmm). On the way out of the restaurant we ran into E's sister. A & E took us on a driving tour of Hamilton.

We saw the "convenience store of death". Apparently there was a shooting there - or maybe a knifing? I can't remember now! We saw the house where some guy killed a prostitute. An unintentional tour of Hamilton murders! We saw the library where A works, and E's radio studio. We went to a grocery store so that Doug and I could stock up on Canadian drugs. I like the over-the-counter muscle relaxants you can get there. Most of the time they don't do anything for me, but about once a year I get some neck tension that just won't quit and the relaxants seem to help: Methocarbomol 400mg with acetaminophen 325mg. Doug gets 24-hour Claratin: loratadine 10mg with no other active ingredients. They also sell Tylenol with codeine, but I didn't get any cuz the last time I did I was too afraid to take it. I also got some fruit and cassis syrup which I like to drink mixed into fizzy water.

We went back to A & E's where I talked too much. It's a lot of pressure to meet after 20 years! I guess that I wanted to pack as much info into the meeting as possible. At long last Doug and I left for Niagara (A & E find it boring after living next to it their whole lives - Mall of America syndrome I guess). We stopped at another grocery store on the way out. I didn't find Grape Tang there nor later in Niagara. We did find a Tim Horton's (there's practically one on every corner!) and stopped for some frozen coffee confection - we don't drink the real thing - and donuts. When in Rome, uh, kinda pretend to drink coffee...
